Brand Voice
- Bently Heritage communications portray excellence without pretension.
- When drafting content, imagine these personalities: 1. An award-winning master distiller who’s down-to-earth and candid. 2. An experienced connoisseur who speaks from a place of authority, but not of arrogance.
- Follow these rules when revising content: 1. Be concise. Long blocks of text are challenging for readers. 2. Be conversational. Tell a story, don’t write a press release. 3. Use active voice. Keep prose lively and interesting. 4. Think like the audience. Bently Heritage’s premium products are designed to be treasured: as such, be confident, clear, and informative. 5. Avoid unnecessary superlatives. While details should provide color, unnecessary adjectives and adverbs convey pretension at best, and inferiority at worst. 6. Avoid complexity. Never use a foreign phrase, a scientific word, or jargon if you can think of an everyday English equivalent. 7. We love whisky and whiskies. Bently Heritage doesn’t distill whiskey. Always use the Scottish spelling, WHISKY.

Brand Values
- Bently Heritage Estate Distillery was founded by Christopher Bently in 2013. His vision is to distill premium liquors from local and sustainable ingredients, all while celebrating the Silver State’s colorful heritage.
- Christopher grew up in Minden, one of Nevada’s oldest ranching communities. As a child he played inside the historic Flour Mill and Creamery buildings that now serve as the heart and soul of the Bently Heritage distillery. Later, as an entrepreneur, he modeled local ranch land into a sustainable ranch and farm that not only nourishes the local community, but protects the land for generations to come.
- When the state of Nevada passed legislation allowing local distilleries to operate, Christopher saw an opportunity to combine the efforts of his sustainable farmland with the historic legacy of Minden.
- Like the original distilleries of the old world, Bently Heritage uses grains and botanicals that are grown on our very own ranch here in Nevada. The old buildings Christopher once played in have been lovingly remade as cutting-edge green structures that serve as the epicenter of the distillery — and of the town of Minden itself. Together, these operations embody the spirit of Nevada and the best traditions passed down from the old masters of distilling.
- Bently Heritage’s goal is to set a new standard for sustainable production. Minden is an oasis of green and wide-open space, and it is rich in history. Our spirits are a celebration of that: a connection to the past, a bridge to the future, and a taste to be treasured.
- Bently Heritage embodies the pioneering essence of Nevada, elevating the passion connoisseurs have for hand crafted spirits and creating a taste that will be treasured for generations to come.
- True to the old world style, Bently Heritage distills world class-spirits using grains and botanicals grown and foraged on our own ranch. Sustainably grown rye, wheat, and barley will be traditionally processed and malted on our own land, fermented in a historic flour mill, and locally aged. Our luxury spirits can only be made in one place on the planet: right here in Minden, Nevada.
