  • The visual identity centers on the Dynamic U symbol, vibrant gradients, a multicolored palette (cyan, yellow, black, green, red, navy blue), and the Lato typeface. Logo Usage
  • Our logo is the combination of the Dynamic U symbol and the “FISU” logotype.
  • The 10 degrees diagonal characterises the construction of the symbol and the logotype, adding dynamism and personality.
  • Do not use the symbol or the logotype alone, always use the complete logo.
  • The horizontal version of FISU logo should be used in all communications and media whenever a horizontal use is necessary or more fitting.
  • Use the vertical version when there is not enough space for the horizontal one or when it is more convenient.
  • These versions can be used where the full name is desired or necessary.
  • The logo can also be accompanied by our official motto “Excellence in Mind and Body”.
  • Do not use the motto without FISU logo. Do not alter these proportions and the position of the motto.
  • A clear space around any FISU logo is required to preserve its integrity and make sure it is easy to read.
  • The minimum clear space that must surround the logo is equivalent to the height of the character “U”.
  • To ensure legibility for any small-size application, never reduce FISU identity elements below the minimum size guidelines.

Typography
  • Lato is FISU’s primary type family. It supports most of the languages and it comes with 18 weights adaptable for all possible uses.
  • We use the weights for the uses stated.
  • Lato black: titles and subtitles. Lato medium: body copy, quotes, variety i.e. bullet points. Lato light: body copy.
  • The Lato font is available free of charge under the SIL Open Font License and can be used without any limitations for commercial and non-commercial purposes.
