  • In most cases the generic logo should be used. There are two versions of the generic logo, ‘Stacked’ and ‘Flat’. The Flat logo is the preferred logo. Depending on the space and shape available the stacked version may be needed.
  • The reverse version of the logo should be used when the background is too dark and the logo cannot be seen clearly.
  • When the logo can only be reproduced in black and white please use the greyscale version of the logo.

  • Helvetica Neue is the common font family used across all Surf Life Saving collateral.
  • In most cases the regular (not condensed) version should be used. The full version of the Helvetica Neue family can be supplied in PC or Mac format.
  • Verdana is the email and internet equivalent which will be universal across Mac and PC platforms. This should be used for all internal and external documents, power points, websites and email.
  • This catch phrase is applied to the majority of Surf Life Saving communications. It conveys the commitment and passion of it’s members. It’s typographical treatment is more casual which is emphasised by using a hand written font. Formal documents will carry the organisation purpose rather than the slogan.
